Happy Holidays from Education @ Elevation!

The weather is cold and frosty, but high on the Tibetan Plateau students at the Nga Gyur Shed Dup Ling School are warm, well-nourished, and studying hard!

2018 has been a year of accomplishments. Funds from contributors and events provided:

  • 12 months of meal sponsorship for the students Annual salaries for 2 teachers
  • 6 months’ salary for a chef/cook at the school
  • $5000 towards construction of the new school building
  • Scholarships for 2 young Tibetan women pursuing higher education

All this is due to your donations, holiday sales of Karma Kookies, the Amazon Smiles program, and our annual event in May celebrating Tibetan culture, meditation and wellness! Thank you so very much for your support!

The work will continue in 2019, so please consider making a year-end donation to E @ E, choose us as your Amazon Smiles charity, and watch for special events next year!

Wishing all a Very Merry Holiday Season!

The khata symbolizes purity and compassion and are worn or presented with incense at many ceremonial occasions, including births, weddings, funerals, graduations and the arrival or departure of guests. It is usually made of silk. Tibetan khatas are usually white, symbolising the pure heart of the giver.
